Who
We Are
GodSpeed
Biker Church is a new church designed to reach bikers (both
Christian and secular) with a biblical presentation of the Gospel
through preaching, teaching, and worship. You do not have to be
a biker to attend.
No "perfect people" allowed. Leathers, denim, and
tattoos welcome here! If you are a member of a MC or MM, you are
encouraged to wear your colors.
Who
Leads Us
Our
lead pastor is Barry "Padre" Davis. Barry spent many
years in pastoral ministry after living for a number of years on
the wild side. He has ridden motorcycles since he bought his first
Harley right out of high school. He also serves as the Central, KY Elder for Bikers
for Christ.
Shawn
Waddle is our main worship leader. He is an accomplished
musician/vocalist who does a great job helping to lead others
closer to the throne of grace through music. Shawn also is a
member of the band "Flood on Fire."
What
We Believe
The
Bible
We
believe the Bible, in the original manuscripts, consisting of the
Old and New Testaments, to be the only inspired, inerrant,
infallible, authoritative Word of God written.
The
Trinity
We
believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three
persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus
Christ
We
believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His
sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death
through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His
ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal
return in power and glory.
Salvation
We
believe that salvation is found in no other name than that of
Jesus the Christ. Salvation is by grace, through faith.
The
Holy Spirit
We
believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose
indwelling power and fullness the Christian is enabled to live a
godly life in this present evil world.
The
Resurrection
We
believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those
that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are
lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
Spiritual
Unity
We
believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ.
The
Return of Christ
We
believe in the literal return of Jesus Christ.
